Hi, I’m Nicole.
I am a freelance creative and digital nomad originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. My primary focus is graphic, visual, and UI design. I’ve had the privilege of working as a designer in various capacities, including in-house and as a freelancer, for startups, agencies, well-established brands, and corporate companies. Each of these opportunities has helped me develop into the designer I am today, and they allow me to share my passion for creativity as I travel the world.
When I’m not working, I enjoy exploring other mediums, having fun with some passion projects, going on an adventure with my camera, or playing a video game.
Inspiration
Most of my inspiration comes from browsing Instagram and Pinterest. You can always find me on either site checking out beautiful designs, illustrations, and draw-dropping photography.
Some of my favorite styles come from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco area. I love the beautiful illustration, especially those that incorporate type. My love for Art Deco stems from the unique type and patterns. Ukiyo-e (Japanese woodblock printing), is another one of my favorite styles because of the process and colors. The intricate details the artist engraved into the wood ensuring nothing overlapped is an art form not seen as much nowadays.
